At Ladybird Student Lets we keep fees to the bare minimum to help our student tenants as much as possible. We do not charge additional fees for drawing up contracts or visiting the property at any stage. There are also no additional charges to the tenant if tradesmen need to attend the property and there are certainly no check in or check out fees!!

 

To secure a room with us we require a £300 fully returnable deposit. Deposits are paid into the 'Deposit Protection Scheme' (DPS) where they are lodged safely. At the end of the tenants contract, deposits are returned in full minus any deductions which may be incurred. Possible deductions such as damage to the property and its contents will be taken into consideration in a fair way. 

 

 

Below is a list of minimal fees we do charge....

• £15 - Loss of key fee. This is the price per key lost!

• £150 - Early termination of contract fee. This is an option we sometimes offer our tenants if needed in special circumstances. Termination of the contract can only be done if a new tenant is found to take over the remainder of their contract by the tenant or us.

• £50 - Variation of contract fee. If a tenant has already signed up with us but wishes to move to another one of our houses before their tenancy starts. To cover the costs associated with preparing and resigning the new legal documents.
